Finding a Hockey Shooter Tutor

Finding a Hockey Shooter TutorIf you're interested in playing hockey, then it's important to choose a hockey shooter tutor. A coach can help you understand the different skills you need to master, while a teacher can offer you the means to improve your skills. However, it's hard to learn from an instructor when you're a beginner, and in the process it can also make you feel out of your depth. So, how do you find a quality one?First of all, you need to ask around. You can find people who know other shooters who can recommend them. Ask friends and family. Make sure you know what you're looking for, and inquire about the person you're dealing with. If they are a certified hockey shooter tutor, or they're not sure if they are, try to verify that by asking for references or by looking them up online. If you do have one on your list, be careful when you go to check out their credentials. Some of them might not have certification, especially ones that charge you money. Also, if they don't se em to have as much experience as you need, you might want to look elsewhere. It might be best to go with someone who knows what they're doing and has the knowledge to help you move forward as quickly as possible.Find out more about them and their previous instructors. Do they have any certifications? Do they have any recommendations? A good goalie tutor should be able to give you pointers and tips to help you get started. If they don't offer that, or if you aren't sure about what they can offer, it might be a good idea to look for someone else.Lastly, it might be an excellent choice to get a coach or mentor. These people can offer you extra advice and coaching. They can help you figure out the game, how to handle it, and how to practice. They can help you get better at it, which in turn will help you advance quickly. Now, it's not necessary to hire a teacher or coach to do it all for you. You can also find a way to play hockey or join a league and play with others who are your age. E ven if you don't have anyone who can coach you, you can still get some great help through reading, watching videos, or talking to other players. Learning from people who are successful can be a great help, and it can help you to progress quickly and easily. It's time to start your journey, so start looking for someone who is right for you. Don't waste your time on any one who doesn't seem to be willing to put in the effort. Choose the one who can help you get where you want to be as quickly as possible. Just remember that you can always ask someone you trust for help.

The Pimsleur method makes use of four main principles: organic learning, graduated interval recall, anticipation and core vocabulary. However, other programs also make use of similar principles. Here are 14 possible Pimsleur alternatives.Organic LearningThe principle of organic learning ties into the idea of learning material in context. In summation, Pimsleur focuses on introducing new information in the context of a realistic conversation. For Pimsleur, this means using scripted audio dialogues that replicate actual conversations. The general idea behind organic learning is that learning in context is thought to improve retention and make learners more prepared to use the skills theyve learned. Here are some other programs that use a similar principle.FluentUFor a fun and multifaceted organic learning experience, FluentU is hard to beat. FluentU takes real world videosâ€"like music videos, movie trailers, news and moreâ€"and converts them into t op-notch learning tools. With FluentU, you hear languages in real-world contextsâ€"the way that native speakers actually use them. Just a quick look will give you an idea of the variety of FluentU videos on offer:FluentU really takes the grunt work out of learning languages, leaving you with nothing but engaging, effective and efficient learning. It’s already hand-picked the best videos for you and organized them by level and topic. All you have to do is choose any video that strikes your fancy to get started! Each word in the interactive captions comes with a definition, audio, image, example sentences and more.Access a complete interactive transcript of every video under the Dialogue tab, and easily review words and phrases from the video under Vocab. You can use FluentU’s unique adaptive quizzes to learn the vocabulary and phrases from the video through fun questions and exercises. Just swipe left or right to see more examples of the word youre studying. The program even keeps tr ack of what you’re learning and tells you exactly when it’s time for review, giving you a 100% personalized experience.Start using FluentU on the website with your computer or tablet or, better yet, download the FluentU app from the iTunes store or Google Play store.ReadlangYou can learn organically through reading your favorite websites, too, and Readlang makes that process even simpler.Readlang is a downloadable web reader that can turn whatever you want to read into a language lesson. Readlang can instantly translate words and phrases on websites, allowing you to read material in your target language while picking up new vocabulary in an authentic, real-world context. Not only that, all the words you translate are automatically saved, allowing you to practice them more later. The free version allows you unlimited word translations and flashcards. However, youll be limited to 10 phrase translations per day. If you subscribe for the premium edition, all the services are unlimited .And if youre not sure what to read, Readlang can even help you with that. Readlang provides some articles through the website.ClozemasterAvailable: iOS | AndroidClozemaster offers organic learning through realistic example sentences.Youll be presented with sentences and their translations and asked to fill in the blanks. Not only does this give you a realistic idea of how a word might be used, it gives you experience using that word, which also exercises one of the principles well discuss later, anticipation. For some languages, some of the sentences also include audio. In addition, if you sign up for a free account, you can access readings in your target language. If you sign up for a pro account, youll have access to even more features. For instance, you can select if you want to work on vocabulary, listening or speaking and can choose between multiple choice and text input.Plus, Clozemaster offers a huge array of languages, including some you may not even have heard of. For instan ce, you can study Breton, Occitan, Piedmontese and more.TandemAvailable: iOS | AndroidOne of the most natural ways to learn organically is to learn through interacting with native speakers, and Tandem allows you to do just that. However, Tandem also provides additional resources, so you wont be in over your head.Tandem allows you to search conversation partners and connect with them immediately for free. Afterwards, you and your partner can leave reviews of each other so you have a clearer idea of what you need to work on.Premium memberships unlock a host of additional options, including unlimited translations, the ability to search for users near you and the removal of ads.The translation features are particularly useful for organic learning. After all, youll be looking up the words you need to know when you need to use them, which is about as in-context as learning can get.Graduated Interval RecallGraduated interval recall has to do with the spacing with which learners are exposed to material. The logic is that spacing out material at increasingly distant intervals will improve a learners ability to remember a word. Pimsleur carefully spaces out the material youll be presented with in attempts to aid retention.Graduated interval recall is much like the idea behind spaced repetition systems, which are used in the following programs.GlossikaGlossika is a language learning system that focuses primarily on listening and speaking. To help learners acquire these essential skills and build vocabulary, Glossika uses spaced repetition. Glossika refers to this as doing reps, so you can feel like your language skills are finally getting the workout they deserve. You can even adjust the audio speed so that it feels like an appropriate rate of speech for you.Words and phrases are intended to be realistic, so Glossika also plays somewhat on the organic learning principle.Plus, Glossikas algorithm adjusts to you, making the learning experience more customized for each lear ner. With over 50 language options, youre likely to be able to find a Glossika program for your target language.AnkiAppAvailable: iOS | AndroidAnkiApp is all about spaced repetition. Its kind of AnkiApps thing.Rather than being focused exclusively on language education, AnkiApp is actually a flashcard app that uses spaced repetition to help users learn whatever material theyre studying. The spaced repetition system is designed to make learning more efficient by analyzing how youve done and carefully selecting what you need to work on.You can create your own flashcards that incorporate words, images and/or audio, but if youd rather get started right away, there are also plenty of existing language learning sets you can enjoy.Plus, AnkiApp is free!SuperMemoAvailable: iOS | AndroidSuperMemo has been optimizing spaced repetition intervals since the 1980s, so theyve got mad experience in the field. And guess what? SuperMemo already offers a collection of over 100 courses to help users learn more than 10 different languages.Have a special set of vocabulary that you want to learn? You can also create your own course and use SuperMemo to optimize your learning with its spaced repetition. Some of SuperMemos materials are free, though others are only available with a premium membership.VocAppAvailable: iOS | AndroidIf youre looking for a vocabulary app designed specifically for language learners that uses a spaced repetition system, look no further! VocApp is intended to help language learners expand vocabulary quickly through spaced repetition. This flashcard system allows you to access existing sets or create your own with texts, translations, images and audio. The app itself is free, and you can create your own sets for free. While course samples are free, in-app purchases are available to enjoy the whole course.AnticipationThe principle of anticipation asserts that having the opportunity to anticipate a correct response can trigger new connections. In the Pimsleur program , this means that learners are prompted, theres a pause to allow learners to respond and then a correct response is provided. Similarly, these other programs give you an opportunity to respond.Rocket LanguagesRocket Languages is a learning program that also uses the principle of anticipation.Rocket Languages features hours upon hours of audio lessons. But rather than merely playing examples for you, these audio lessons are interactive, engaging you more actively and inviting you to anticipate responses. But Rocket Languages is so much more than audio lessons alone. The program also offers grammar lessons, cultural lessons, voice recognition, flashcards and additional features.Rocket Languages is available for the following languages:ArabicChineseFrenchGermanItalianJapaneseKoreanPortugueseRussianSpanishLinguaphoneLinguaphone offers a simple method that uses the principle of anticipation to the learners advantage. The method is a simple sequence: listen, understand, speak.First, a nativ e speaker speaks a sentence slowly as you read along. As the course progresses, the speakers rate increases to a more natural pace. Then, you begin to understand what youre hearing and reading. Finally, youre invited to speak. Early in the course, this means trying to replicate what native speakers say, but later youll actually be invited to participate in simulated conversations.Additionally, Linguaphone plays on the principle of organic learning by presenting material in a realistic context.Michel ThomasMichel Thomas courses feature audio-based learning. In this system, you simply listen and repeat. The idea is that over time, youll build confidence and skills that you can use in real life. In fact, youll be saying complete sentences right off the bat.An added benefit of the Michel Thomas course is that its audio-based, meaning you can listen to it on your commute, during your next boring meeting or even in the shower. Just be sure to whisper your responses if people are around or yo u may get some side-eye.Focus on Core VocabularyIts no secret that some words are much more common than others. Because of this, Pimsleur and many other programs focus on core vocabulary, which means focusing on a small number of high-frequency words before expanding on that vocabulary. Pimsleur purposely limits the total number of words youre exposed to early on so as not to overwhelm you, aiming to give you a strong foundation. Other programs that provide a strong foundation in core vocabulary include the following.Mango LanguagesMango Languages is another program that focuses on building a strong foundation through relevant vocabulary.Lessons feature realistic phrases that youre likely to want to use in real life. Then, phrases are broken down into vocabulary and grammar rules. These basic phrases give you the foundations you need to start using your target language right away, but they also provide valuable skills you can build upon down the road. And, because vocabulary is intro duced in realistic conversations, Mango Languages also uses the principle of organic learning.Living LanguageLiving Language courses focus on all the essentials: the essential vocabulary, the essential grammar and the essential cultural information. And when it comes to the principle of core vocabulary, focusing on these essentials is helpful. Beginning courses will introduce you to the basic words you need to start communicating, but Living Language courses also offer something special for more advanced students: There are specialty courses related to travel, business and particular professions, meaning you can also build a core vocabulary in a more specialized category.LanguagePod101.comLanguagePod101.com offers podcasts, audio and video for tons of different languages, and many of these materials focus on teaching core vocabulary. One major benefit of the LanguagePod101.com series is that most vocabulary materials are grouped by theme, meaning you can easily learn core vocabulary b ased around your needs. For instance, you might find podcasts, audio and/or video covering things like airport vocabulary, phrases to introduce yourself and phrases to use in restaurants.Additionally, the materials from LanguagePod101.com are usually short, so learners are less likely to get swamped down by massive vocabulary lists.LanguagePod101 has programs available for the following languages:ArabicChineseFrenchGermanItalianJapaneseKoreanPortugueseRussianSpanishSo try these Pimsleur alternatives to shoot your language learning into the stratosphere!

Why We Should Talk About Politics And VOTE

Why We Should Talk About Politics And VOTE via Afrolly News USA Whether or not youre happy with the election results, there was something different this time around. Scrolling down Facebooks timeline, you noticed more and more I Voted, Did You? statuses from your friends. Well, at least I did here in Florida. According to U.S. News and World Report, the midterm turnout increased in only 12 states, but decreased in the remaining states (in comparison with the 2010 midterm elections). However, only 13 percent of voters in this years election were under 30 years old. So whats the deal? Its very likely that people who chose to vote have simply become more vocal about it. Florida, especially, was very vocal about the legalization of medical marijuana â€" which gained a lot of support from college kids (what a surprise). Then, everyone was even louder when the amendment didnt pass. Choosing to not vote, I can understand but I dont agree with it. Its easy to feel a distrust of the government after growing up hearing about the thousands of soldiers dying overseas, witnessing 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina at young ages and the recent unrest in Ferguson. The government and authorities aren’t perfect by any means. Many see not voting as a protest to the government, but really, its just making things worse; instead of the government hearing how unhappy you are with the laws and politicians, theyre hearing NOTHING. Now, sometimes you’re put in a difficult situation where you don’t like ANY of the candidates, but in that case you have to weigh the pros and the cons and narrow it down. It can be tough, but you have to figure out what’s best for you and your community. Midterm elections are known for not getting as many voters to the polls, but what we need to remember is that it’s really the local government that affects us directly. I feel the same pain in having to watch political ad after political ad, not knowing what’s true and whats false. But its our duty to educate ourselves. Talks on politics were always on the hush-hush around friends and family because of the easy transition from debate into all-out war.  It’s frowned upon to express your opinion on politics and deep topics. But what’s so wrong about talking about politics â€" as long as everyone is respectful and (at least trying to be) factual. Don’t be THAT guy via E! Online While I am encouraging that we all participate in healthy political debates among our peers, there is definitely a line you don’t want to crossbasically anything that is vulgar, disrespectful or fabricated. Keep it to facts as much as possible. If you state your opinion, back it up by facts and evidence. (FYI, citing biased “news sources” does not count as facts.) OK, sometimes politicians are unanimously called “idiots” by all parties and deserve it, but who put that idiot into office? You, even if you didn’t vote actually, especially since you didn’t vote. However, know the line between debate and the beginning of a screaming match. For example, Ben Stein (the guy in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off  who repeats ‘Bueller, Bueller, Bueller …’) decided to go on Fox News  to give some “commentary” on President Obama and how he is doing in the White House. While he is entitled to his opinion, he crossed the line right here: “This president is the most racist president there has been in America.” That is a sentence taken word-for-word that Ben Stein said on camera, without batting an eye. By no means does anyone have to like the president or agree with all of his policies. But this is a strong comment to say on national television. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m pretty sure that twelve presidents have actually owned slaves, and eight of those owned slaves while holding office. By default, Obama should be no more than the 12th most racist president, if he is considered racist at all. If Ben Stein would have used facts to back up this claim, instead of more and more opinion, then it could be taken seriously. Instead, he just angered a large portion of America by making such a loud, obnoxious opinion. Turn Out For What via Instagram On a better note, there was one celebrity that made it clear he would do anything to make his voice heard in this year’s election. Lil’ Jon posted on Instagram that he had to catch a last minute flight back to his hometown in Atlanta in order to cast his ballot. Apparently, Atlanta had some issues with absentee ballots this year and Lil’ Jon is fortunate enough (rich enough) to be able to go to the extremes to vote. While he showed that he was a proud voter, he also made light on the issues that people face when voting. Lil Jon was not alone because Atlanta experienced issues all over the city with absentee ballots not being sent out. Hopefully, it won’t be an issue come next election. Politics hasn’t always been the thing to give people “cool points,” but maybe with celebrities being more vocal and present in the voting eye, people will see that their voice can be heard and SHOULD be heard. Whether you have specific issues you are voting for or not, make your vote and voice count.

Summer of Endless Opportunities

Summer of Endless Opportunities With summertime officially upon us, our instincts tell us we should be spending these longest days of the year close to the water perhaps at the beaches of Southern California, or at the shores of Lake Coeur dAlene near Spokane, WA. But wait. Perhaps even better opportunities await us this summer? Yes, I am suggesting summer school. Why? College admission has become even more competitive over the last years (see movie Admission staring Paul Rudd). Applying for a job will be even harder. Thats why summer school constitutes a real opportunity to increase you chances. Moreover, during the summer term class size are smaller, and there is a chance to get to know your professor on a personally level. I also suggest hiring a tutor. Professional tutors work over the summers too but have less students. This means great tutors are easier to get and might be willing to teach at a lower rate. So, have fun and be smart this summer. Professional Tutors Teaching this Summer Mr. Aswamy Chemistry, Biology and Sciences in Atlanta, GA. How Renting Furniture Lowers Your Stress Levels

How Renting Furniture Lowers Your Stress Levels www.akeena.net Stress doesn’t need to be a factor when it comes to furniture rentals and here are a few reasons how that works out to be true: •You have zero furniture? Rent. Simple. It gets done in 48 hours max, so you won’t be in a furniture-less place for long. •Depending on the contract you sign at your apartment complex you could get good deals on furniture rentals. Companies give good rates to students depending on the type of contract they sign for. It saves you time and money in the long run. •It works if you are living somewhere for a set amount of time. Technically that is the ultimate best setting for renting furniture. Get it in, then get it out. Simple as that. If you know your end date somewhere, renting furniture might be your best bet, that way you won’t be stuck with unnecessary furniture that you don’t need or want. •Do you hate moving furniture? Yeah so do I. When you rent furniture you won’t have too. That is what the moving furniture rental people get paid to do! So if you move again, don’t worry about trying to gather all your friends and family to help you move out they will not be needed. •Is there something you have seen and wanted to try, but don’t know if you actually want it in your house or apartment for a good amount of time? Never fear, you can actually rent pieces of furniture before you fully commit. You can rent for a month or two and then send it back. •Redecorating can be a cool experience if you want something new to wash out the old, yet, redecorating with furniture that you have to sell to make room for new pieces is a harder task than people let on. When you rent furniture, certain sets can have different expiration dates, so the movers come in and clean you out and then you get a whole new set that they move in for you. No hassle, no worry; and you get a whole new décor. •There are rent-to-own programs, meaning that if you don’t have the money to buy furniture right then and there you can enroll in the program which requires you to make monthly payments up until the time the furniture is paid off.   Although doing this may cause you to be paying more for the furniture than if you had just paid for it outright in the beginning. •You can coordinate what you want. You can have a full-on living room set if you want it and not waste time picking out every little piece of furniture. Each set is most likely for a flat rate price each and you don’t have to worry about picking out things that match and then being upset if nothing works. Just have the rental company get a good set to you. http://www.wildcatmovers.com Renting is something that will be in society forever, so just take a breath and let it ease your mind. Don’t hassle yourself too much when you don’t have to; take the easy road, it is better on your stress levels. Looking for an easy way to furnish your off-campus apartment? Renting furniture from CORT saves you time and money. See how easy it is to get great looking furniture without breaking the bank.

Chemists Writing in the European Journal of Chemistry

Chemists' Writing in the European Journal of ChemistryChemicals and the European Journal of Chemistry are very important for the science community. This is especially true for the chemists, especially since the field of Chemistry has always been an interdisciplinary one. Chemists need to publish in a wide variety of journals in order to attract attention from other scientists and other students. The chemistry writing in the European Journal of Chemistry is made very interesting by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) that monitors and publishes all publications of all chemists. This will be an excellent source of information for the interested student who would like to gain more information about chemicals. The European Journal of Chemistry is particularly aimed at chemical interaction or chemoselective synthesis, which was invented by two chemists Alexander Fleming and Frederick Bourne. The European Journal of Chemistry is for those chemistry students who are already quite familiar w ith the subject. However, those students can also benefit from reading the European Journal, as this publication is highly recommended for those who are trying to enter the field of chemistry in a whole new way. The majority of today's chemistry students today started their careers in an undergraduate course and this is one of the best sources for those who are eager to get into a graduate degree. There are many areas for these students to start, including international business and industry, nanotechnology, biochemistry, engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, and many more.Chemistry has long been a part of every student's life because it requires a lot of fundamental knowledge in addition to basic science. The European Journal of Chemistry is perfect for those students who are serious about pursuing an advanced degree in chemistry. The article writing in this publication is usually very useful to help the student to research his or her topic, evaluate his or her research, and find a suitable thesis for his or her thesis defense. The European Journal of Chemistry is an opportunity for those who want to write chemistry articles to choose their subject from the list of topics available. This allows them to find a suitable topic for their paper and explore further their topic area. Students often see this article as a great way to write and also gives them an opportunity to interact with other students who are working on the same paper. The European Journal of Chemistry is very popular with the international science conference. A majority of the international science conferences is devoted to the publication of the latest reports. The most important conferences are held at the biennial meeting of the Biophysical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Both of these conferences are included in the Biophysical Society. The biophysical society brings together experts from different fields of science to focus on the latest research on various aspects of the biophysical field. These conferences are very beneficial for those students who are trying to get involved in a lot of research topics.

Choosing A Chemistry Course

Choosing A Chemistry CourseStudents of the prestigious Harvard University take chemistry courses for a number of reasons. Some like to learn advanced techniques and chemicals, while others have a natural aptitude for science or enjoy watching chemistry experiments unfold in a laboratory. Even though there are quite a few types of chemistry course to choose from, most Harvard students choose the first two. When choosing a chemistry course, there are some things that a student's interests and aptitude should be considered. Whether it is a focus on organic chemistry, or pure and simple chemistry, there are many areas that an aspiring chemistry student should consider. For one thing, it is important to choose a subject that can be taught well by either traditional classroom methods or computer labs. Some of the more basic types of chemistry may be offered through the assistance of a chemistry professor, but you will probably be better off at this stage to learn a great deal of the materia l through the hands-on approach. One thing to consider as you narrow down your student's interests is their learning style. Do they tend to learn quickly and absorb information very quickly, or do they prefer long, difficult word problems to acquire the material? While a student with a fast-paced style might appreciate learning with some difficulty, a student with a slower pace might need a much more structured approach.Next, a student might have career goals that need to be pursued. For example, are they interested in working in the pharmaceutical industry, or a career in academia? With regard to career goals, all students must consider what they would like to do, and how they might do it. Will they get a job immediately after finishing college, or does it require a good amount of work to establish themselves in the work force? With regard to work experience, the average high school graduate might not have much, if any, experience in the chemical industry. However, working with a univ ersity as a research assistant could open up a wide variety of new career options.Remember, a great many of the chemical and pharmaceutical companies have internships as part of their job searches, and there are many different career options open to chemistry majors. It is always best to develop a strong foundation in chemistry before deciding on the best path for your career.

To create a customized training plan, your coach will need to know what you want and, perhaps more importantly, what you need. Your personal trainer will do a one on one fitness assessment to see what your strengths and weaknesses are and at what level to set your custom-tailored exercise program for you.You will need to discuss your exercise goals: fat loss, recreation, body sculpting…After this first, often free consultation, your coach will set up a training schedule just for you, taking into account your working hours, lifestyle and daily routine. No more miss ing classes with your local recreation center fitness group - with a personal trainer, it's easy to reschedule rather than cancel so you won’t miss a session.Tracking your weight loss progress will sometimes be difficult - these tips can help. So before you run off to start the next fad diets, take out your phone and tape measure. There are several ways of tracking your progress from personal training:Take your measurements before starting your new fitness program and regularly every few weeks afterwards. Even if the scale isn’t moving - for example, if you are losing fat but gaining muscle to compensate - your measurements will tell you what your body weight won’t: whether you burn fat or gain in muscle mass.Take pictures. The mirror is a horrible liar, and you look into it too often. Pictures - taken, say, every month - can be put side-by-side with older pics so you can see what your workout plan is achieving.Ask your personal coach how you are doing. It’s his job to track your gains, he or she can tell you how you are progressing toward your goals. Here are five of the best apps for tracking your burn during your cardio workout, circuit training or the nutritional value of your meals:Endomondo: This is one of the most precise apps in terms of data collection during high-intensity training programs. During a session, the screen will tell you how far you have gone, your average rhythm during a run as well as the number of calories you are burning. At the end of a run, Endomondo automatically generates a report with your itinerary, counting each and every kilometre, as well as an overview of your session in terms of distance, rhythm, speed… This app is specialised in running, though.7-minute workout: This sports app offers nine different training programs accompanied by videos demonstrating the exercises. There are various programs aimed at fitness or getting back into shape, including an app to track your sleep or another for collecting your cycling or jogging data. Pricing is generally around 2.99 €Fiit has a series of 25- and 40-minute workouts to choose from. You can choose your workouts according to type (Pilates, cardio, strength, yoga…), body parts you want to exercise and difficulty level. It monitors your heart rate and counts your reps. The truly excellent workout videos are worth the £20 a month you will have to shell out for this app.Strava is more for running but will monitor general activity as well. It is extremely user-friendly and has a whole range of analyser tools to track your performance and goals.Superhero Workout. Programming this app must have been fun. Instead of doing sports in-home or in a fitness studio atmosphere (which many apps attempt to recreate), this sports app lets you do sports - while trying to escape aliens! This game has a science-fiction scenario in which you have to de fend yourself against aliens. For example, doing crunches recharges the battery of your armour. The app offers 20 stories, each about 20 minutes long, that challenge you to do sports while having fun - away from the bootcamp atmosphere you sometimes find in group fitness activities. The Superhero Workout app may not make you look like this - but it will help you achieve your fitness goals and build muscle mass. Photo credit: feastoffun.com on Visualhunt3 Smart Technologies to Track Your Fitness Progress With Your CoachSmart technologies allow your personal trainer to track information on your health in real time.In addition to fitness apps, you can download onto your phone, there are other smart technologies you can use during your training sessions. They can help your personal coach track your performance - a simple way of getting to know your body a little bit better and to help your private or gym personal trainer get you fit fast, whether at a fitness centre or in the comfort of your own home. Here are 3 smart products that can accompany your journey to greater fitness and a healthier body:The Polar M400 watch. This GPS-enabled running watch measures in real time the distance you have run, your speed and rhythm. During your normal workday, it also tracks the number of steps you take and the calories you burn. Thanks to Bluetooth, it can speak with your smartphone, sending the collected data to the PolarFlow app to be analysed. A great way to compare your performance with your personal trainer.Actiwell One - smart headphones. They measure the wearer’s heart rate. The data is then used to automatically choose music in synch with your heartbeat (compare it with our very own Superprof fitness playlist). This function is very useful when doing sports: the more effort you put in, the more rapid and motivating the music.Move it: this functional gizmo is a trainer in itself. Made for fitness training, it is particularly well adapted to cardio and weight training. Move It tracks your movements and prevents you from cheating when doing exercises, making sure you are focusing on what you are doing without getting sloppy. Once you are done with your fitness session, it folds up compactly and is easy to store. These smart technologies shouldn’t be used alone, but rather in addition to proper training sessions with your personal trainer. They give a little extra push, enough to motivate you and have you look forward to your next exercise session.Talk to Your Trainer: the Best Way To Track Your Fitness ProgressThough the best witness to your progress is your body, it pays to take advantage of your personal trainer - listen to his advice, ask him questions. Don’t know when the proper time for stretching is? Ask! Don’t know if you should invest in some professional weights for your home? Ask! You can talk about your fears or the anxieties that are preventing you from giving your best, as well as what motivates (or de-motivates) you.Not all progr ess can be crunched into numbers. Your personal trainer can tell you if he sees progress in your endurance and strength that the scale can't track. Photo on VisualHunt.comYou will find as time progresses that your personal trainer is becoming something of a therapist - an important development since mental health has an effect on your body.Don’t try and hide it. She will notice if you are tired or seem anxious and are not giving your all. Discussing it is the best way to progress because it’s the only way to find out exactly what is preventing you from progressing. Are you not pushing yourself because you are afraid of failing? Is the physical pain of straining muscles de-motivating? Are you thinking of your work day and can’t focus properly? Your trainer will know tricks to help you push past these hurdles. This isn’t a boot camp. You are allowed to show weakness because your trainer is there to help you find ways to overcome it.Did you know music can be highly motivational when working out?

Despite this, the Castelo de São Jorge, one of the neighbourhoods most popular attractions, remained standing. This has left the area with a mix of modern and historic Moorish architecture.Do you think that some of the buildings in Alfama look a bit dilapidated? This is part of the area’s history. Under the Moorish rule in Portugal, the interiors of buildings were far more important than their exteriors as it would be considered superficial. You can also visit the Baixa neighbourhood, the city’s beating commercial and touristy heart.  Here you’ll find the Praça do Comércio and the Rua Augusta Arch. Accommodation might be quite dear here.If you take the stairs or the funicular railway, you’ll arrive at Bairro Alto and Chiado, two complementary areas.  The first is famous for its nightlife (it’s calm during the day) and the other for being busy during the day.
